Okay this is my first post on here, I actually got wind of this site through Yahoo Answers, Let me break a couple things down for you all.
My parents will not let me watch R rated films or NC-17 films, I am 18 years old too and they still won't let me watch them. I am really fucking depressed because pretty much all people my age are already having sex and I can't even watch it onscreen and once again I'm 18 and a legal adult.
I got so damn tired of this shelter childhood I finally confronted my parents about it and they told me that if I want to watch films and tv shows that features sex scenes than I have to move out first. So, that's what I'm trying to do now, the thing is I probably won't be able to move out for at least another couple months... Its so hard to deal with... I am aiming to move out by the end of this year definitely because I just can't handle all these restrictions anymore. So. uh like if you were me would you just try to make it through and move out? Or just throw in the towel? I mean my god my life is pathetic... It really is.
Feel free to go ahead and laugh now I guess.
p.s Watching all those films and tv shows and finally losing my virginity will be first to do on my list once I move out.
Thanks for any constructive answers.
Edit- Oh before I forget, I live in the shitty redneck state of Georgia. So I guess you can kind of tell why my parents are so damn conservative...

I dunno, All that's all based on my religion .I was just told sex scenes were bad then when i was older and moved to college my parents just trusted me to watch whatever i felt was right, and yes i watch films with sex scenes in them, but nothing explicit. It's all about personal belief so if your parents don't want sex scenes in their house then that sucks. but that's NOT reason to move out!$500/mo rent $150/mo food! I loved depending on my parents for stuff like that! Cherish it! lol The poor college student, or poor moved out person is a no fun life style. I'd say just throw the towel, and truck through it. Why are the sex scenes so important anyways? I'm married and in college (20 yr old), and yes, sex is pretty awesome, but save it for someone special. It makes it a batrillion times better cause it's just for them, and no one else, but whatever. Maybe I'm just old-fashioned!:P

Thanks, I have made the final decision that I'm going to move out before the end of this year. I'm sick of not being able to watch what I want...
I've looked up a couple of places and their is one apartment that has rent for $250 dollars, so I guess I will have the chance.

They can't control you, if you're 27 you could waltz right In There bye yourself and watch that god damn movie. They don't have to know you're a legal adult
