Police at Walters State Community College are on heightened alert after a student reported an abduction and rape, the first such incident in the 40-year history of the school that is known for its public safety program.

Has anyone heard if its the truth or not about a
kidnapping and rape of a Claiborne County Nursing
Student. Not much info seems to avaliable and
I think we should be told what is going on! If
this is the rtruth wonder who she is and did she know her attacker?
Please any information or comments would ease the
mind!!!!!

I know who she is, but I will not out her on this forum. I've always thought her to be trustworthy.

This is my opinion: If her story is true, then she is lucky to be alive. But if she is making it all up, she deserves to be raped.

Thanks for the info! I just typed in Walters State
on the Wate web site I know they were on campus late yesterday afternoon and in the comments section it says something about charges would be filed on tuesday but it was kinda vague. I really
couldn't tell for sure what they meant. Please
keep updating if you can!

That's what I can't understand. But I sure there
could be many reasons! It just is a little unnerving on campus seems like no one is really
talking about it neith adminstration or students.
If this truly happened then facts need to be
told so someone else want find theirself in the sam situtation!

I agree 100%...they should think of the safety of the other students.

they will keep it as quiet as possible to maintain the reputation of the school. just like that whole ordeal with the athletes at LMU raping that girl. i dont know if any of it was true or what got done about it. all i know is that it was sure hushed up quick. that is something to think about.

That is more than other colleges have been known to do. When I was in college, there were 4 rapes that happened on campus one year, and we weren't informed at all till the next school year, and that was only because our residential assistants found out and told us.

I don't know if it is true or not. Seems to be a lot of women making up stories about being raped and attacked lately.

If it is true it is none of your or anybody else's business who she is.

If you were raped would you want the entire world to know everything about it? I wouldn't.

There was a story a while back about a nurse coming out of a nursing home and was supposedly attacked or something like that and it was her boyfriend or ex boyfriend or something like that. Yeah, she knew him.
May not be the same thing you are talking about.
