I would not be surprised if they split ,although it would be sad. I think it is time for this show to be over it's just ruining them.

My wife watches the show on occasion. The way she talks to her husband is sad. He is probably just wishing for the sweet release of death.

I watch the show too and I cannot beleive the way she treats him. then she goes on to explain away his bad behavior as an excuse for her own . it's really sad she cannot take ownership over her verbal assaults of Jon.

She is a control freak and a horrible wife. She might as well castrate her husband, I am sure he is about sick of demeaning, rude, disrespectful ways. Poor kids will probably grow up to feel the same way as him,"never good enough"

she is not a horrible wife. She just is frustrated with all of the kids. She has gone from no kids to 8 kids in a very short frame of time. And Kate isn't always mean and disrepectful like you claim her to be. She is a wonderful mom and those kids will have a good life, because Kate cares. Kate is not the only disrepectful one Jon gets his jokes in when he can. Jon and Kate have a healthy realtionship.

I can't remember where it was, but I seen them on an interview or something like that. When she was speaking, her husband was rolling his eyes. I told a friend then, those two aren't going to last, he can't stand her. I've only watched the show once, so I don't know how they really are together. As soon as I seen this topic, I thought "yeap, I knew it"!

Maybe Kate and Octo-Mom can swap recipes. John should move to Tibet, because there's a lot of ladies who will want his ass if he divorces Kate and sticks her with the kids. Not that I'd blame him, necessarily, but still...

You can Dr. Phil and Oprah this all day long, but it won’t change the fact that the fabric of our society has been torn as women have lost sight of their important place in the family. Politics and “People Magazine” have stolen man’s rightful place as “King of the castle”. Men are simple… Hero of wife and family. He only seeks to conquer for the “Queen and kingdom.” However, with our money grubbing lifestyles marketing to the “Lady” of the house, and liberal ideals that attempt to bleach off any remaining genetic human traits that set us apart from the animals, we have lessened the woman’s place to that of Lawyer, Judge, Jury and Executioner of the husband’s masculinity. Her verbal harpoons, mental hijackings (absent logic) and misguided “delusions” of actually being the King have caused the modern man to quietly recoil to the confines of the couch waiting to be told what to do since he obviously “can’t do anything right”(this limits his exposure to only one berating – i.e. hand on the stove principle – see…, men are smart). At some point during the night she sets his “White Horse” out to pasture, hog ties him with her cast off apron strings and virtually eliminates his ability (and desire) to conquer anything for her. With all lost, Jon is sitting in the burned out ruins of what was once his “kingdom” with but two options. 1) Pony up and wrestle the wheel of the bus back from Kate to take his rightful place (could get messy as he will be looked down upon by the media and legal system) or 2) divorce (an acceptable & coveted option of our disposable society) which seems to be Jon’s easiest road to capture what he started out to find in the first place - A woman who sees her hero, unconcerned with the trappings of her modern world, that adores him with all his faults and encourages him by feeding his desire to put her first…. 6’and blond is a bonus. Let us hope that Kate wins the CHARACTER lottery before the show is renamed “Sorry Kate too late + 8.” Although with 10 children I have chosen to lead the sometimes uncomfortable life of wrestling back the wheel of the bus from my “afflicted Queen,” I can’t help but think of others having similar thoughts ….. Run! Jon, Run!

I just recently starting watching the show. I find these kids so adorable. Maddie needs some discipline but she is still loveable.

I will say that I have noticed the way Kate treats her husband. She is extremly disrespectful. She constantly interrupts him when he is speaking; she also rolls her eyes at him; she puts him down. It is embarrassing to watch.

Jon seems to be a nicer person than Kate. I find it amazing he can tolerate her. She is self centered and selfish.

Having said all this...I do hope they can manage through and not divorce. Imagine how hard life will be for those children living with a split household?

Those kids deserve better and I hope Jon and Kate are listening and truly are in it together.

I've seen parts of some episodes, and to be honest, I didn't like it because neither one of them do a good parenting job, plus I don't like the way she treats her husband. Not my ideal t.v. show. However, I do hope they will work it out for the sake of their 8 children. Good luck, and lots of prayers for them.

Come on folks! We watched the show initially because we were curious about the children, but we keep tuning in to see the turbulence between Jon and Kate. That's the entertainment value sustaining the program and any TLC programming exec. will tell you that. When it comes down to it, we feel bad for Kate because her husband has an unfortunate lack of intelligence (at least compared to Kate) and we feel bad for Jon because Kate constantly leverages his poor level of intellect against him and manifests it in snide remarks (bullying). It is clear that Jon has willingly accepted the "beta" or submissive role in the relationship, so it is highly unlikely that he would initiate a divorce.

This whole situation is sad, look at how most of the couples on reality TV end up (not together), it's time for the show to end so that this family can get back to being a family instead of a circus side show.

This stupid woman needs to learn how to submit to her husband. She needs to do everything to keep a husband. Who else is going to help her raise those bad as kids? Maybe her and the woman that had 14 can start a day care.

Submit to her husband? What is this, the tenth century B.C.? True, Kate needs to shut up once in awhile, but submit? Ye gads, why don't you tell her to put on a burhka (burkha? please excuse the misspelling, if it is) and let Jon beat her senseless for no particular reason? Submit...feh.

Daily Horoscope for December 10

Capricorn

Someone is in a finger-wagging mood and unfortunately they seem to be concentrating on you! Maybe they think you've fallen from grace for some reason, or perhaps you're simply the only person who happens to be around when they feel like letting off steam. Do your best not to fall into an equally critical and disgruntled mood, because it will soon make you feel wretched.
