The Reps got a mandate alright, it was, as Karl Rove, as he put it - to create a PERMANENT REPUBLICAN MAJORITY - to go against the constitution and return the US to a Monarchy rules by hand selectedRep. figures while others in the party and their PACS did what they wanted - but still provide photo ops and sound bites for FOXX ...
The people have spoken, if ANYTHING goes awry from here on out - it is TOTALLY THE REPUBLICANS
FAULT for not abiding by good faith efforts to negotiate, follow the Constitution and listen to the
clear cut MAJORITY THAT WANTED AND VOTED OBAMA into office, AGAIN!!
Hail to the Chief!

Oh please.

Pick up a book on Marxism and read it before coming here to shove some twisted version of right-winged, lunacy down people's throats. THINK before putting finger to the keyboard and saying something so demented.

Rubio was the obvious choice.
The Problem with Ryan was that he was a member of the House of Representatives, and that does not have the stature of a Governor or Senator. Biden actually dominated their debate but the VP's overbearing manner turned women off, costing the VP points.
Hopefully you are right about it not being religion but I am mystified that Romney got less votes than McCain on 2008.
I disagree on your take on Romney. First, he was the best candidate in the Republican Primary. He ran, IMO, an excellant campaign but got Hammered because of Todd Akin and Richard Mourdock. He was very close but Obama's approval ratings spiked after Hurricane Sandy and, it now appears, many Republicans did not vote.
Romney lost because of Romney, not Akin, not Mourdoch, not Sandy, not Mormonism, not the media. The majority of voters didn't buy his basic message of a return to Bush era policies.

In his post, he thanked a number of people who helped make the president’s re-election possible, especially “Mother Nature.”
“You, Mother Nature, with all your horrific damage, death and destruction you caused last week, you became, ironically, the undoing of a Party that didn’t believe in you or your climate changing powers,”
http://nation.foxnews.com/chris-matthews/2012...
“I’m so glad we had that storm last week.‘Cause I think the storm was one of those things. No. Politically, I should say. Not in terms of hurting people. The storm brought in possibilities for good politics.”
----------
No storm? Then Obama gives a concession speech.
God did not ENDORSE YOUR CANDIDATE, he was for Obama. I am amazed at how stupid your comment is. But to be fair, it's no more stupid than the "hard working white male" who eagerly votes for the person who gleefully exported their job, because they assured him they were "secretly, in their heart, not really for it, while praising it". Stupidity knows no gender.

I think Romney lost because he's too old fashion simple as that! Abortion should continue to be legal, gays should marry, college students need map, pell grants and loans money to go to school. Poor people need help until they can do better this includes people with disabilities. And have you done research on Mormons ?? Now that's one crazy religion just my two cents

Why did they think they were going to win with a candidate that clearly demonstrated his contempt for the average American and a vice presidential candidate with an Eddie Munster hairdo??!!

He couldn't live with his on lies, as most republican's he got caught cheating. The good family values party, at least this time he was caught with a woman. Not like your usual republicans with a man with his pants around his ankles in the men's restroom like the rest of your party. I guess that's slightly better. LOL

So are you that crazy that you believe Obama made him cheat on his wife?'My prayer to God is a very short one: "Oh Lord, please make my enemies ridiculous." God has granted my wish.

I am 91 years old and I can honestly say that America is going to crap. When I was growing up, people used to respect their elders and we didn't have all these social programs that we have today. America is eventually going to go bankrupt if we keep giving handouts to the lazy people and illegals. Romney would have been much better for this country. Marriage and family values used to be a sacred thing when I was a young man; now people get divorced like crazy. Today women can cry sexual harrassment in the workplace for almost any reason and get a co-worker fired even if there accusations are unfounded. We didn't have this kind of nonsense when I was employed. Companies used to actually care about their works but now they will fire for any reason. There just is no job security. Even 30 years ago, we didn't have all these illegals that we have today and we actually had a president that knew how to run the country. Reagan was far better than Obama can ever dream about becomming.
