The closing of an investigation into the massacre of Christians during a protest in Egypt has been slammed as a "farce" by a woman whose fiance was crushed under a military vehicle.

A panel of judges had been appointed by the minister of justice to investigate the incident, which happened on 9 October 2011 when Christians were demonstrating against the torching of a church and other injustices. They came under brutal attack by security forces, Islamists and violent thugs; 27 Christians were killed and 329 people were injured ...

I am praying for events in the middle east and around the world. I am very aware of what is happening in Egypt and other nearby nations. I do believe God's plan is unfolding according to scripture and that time is short. God Bless the Coptic Christians and keep them safe.

We're on a discussion board.
If you can't deal with your words being taken as you wrote them then maybe you should find a 'discussion' board that allows you not to take responsibility for your words.
uhhh....like THIS discussion board makes anyone responsible for their words.. lol. I am not a liar, Trish...but then neither am I a facetious hypocrite....seems you cornered the market.

Gee, boring old me...I'm just white.
I was driving around today and I took a short cut behind a cemetery to avoid traffic. Anyhow, I ended up looking over and they had this special section of this huge and beautiful graveyard surrounded by flags...American flags and Armed Forces flags....There were six freshly dug graves there. Peoples sons, husbands, brothers.... You know, that is the first time that it really hit me that my country is at war...can you believe that? I was pretty quiet for the rest of the day.

I'd have paid good money to witness that :P

Yes, some say 'love is all around' but it seems lately that war, death and hatred is the fodder of the day.:(

I had a racial epiphany today. I think I'm not a racist anymore. After having spent most of the summer thus far in a pretty cavalier way, I decided to make an appearance at work and act like I give a sh*t. Anyhow, we had to eat on the road and we stopped at a McDonalds (I know...I know). The place was packed with these unruly, horribly behaved little teenage arab monsters. It was sickening. You know, when I am in a foreign country....even Canada...I am always polite and soft spoken. These little punks were cutting in front of everyone and making noise and generally being rude. Who acts like that in someone else's country? They were obviously raised by wolves. Finally. this construction worker looking guy shoved one of the sand monkeys after the kid tried to get in front of him. When all the kid's friends gathered, every white guy in the place picked up their heads and stared...as if to say...please...please...start something. Of course the cowardly little monkeys backed down. I said to the girl I was with in a conspicuously loud voice...."Boy! I'm glad the US is bombing these animals..". That got a smile from the colored girl behind the counter. You know...it was nice. I made eye contact with the blacks and Mexicans in there and we nodded to one another in silent agreement that we found those filthy dune coons utterly disgusting. Even a group of Canadian women smiled at all of us Americans. For a moment...we were all brothers and sisters....or should I say...hermanos y hermanas. Well, when me and the girl I was with walked out, we came face to face with a big yellow bus that said "Dearborn Public Schools"....we both burst into laughter simultaneously. So you see, I had a moment of comradery and human affinity with Americans of other races. So I'm not a racist anymore. It was nice.

Yes, you are a liar.

I'm not an instigator.

When your back is to the wall you lash out with personal attacks which have no basis in fact.

Again......you want the personal drama instead of speaking your mind and dealing with opposition logically and rationally.

Grow up!

you have a serious case of pot calling the kettle black m'dear. Stop being such a self-righteous wingnut. It'd help if you admitted fault ever. I do.......everyone does; it's only you that's perfect in your world. That should tell you that there's something dreadfully wrong with your self-perception. That's not an attack btw, that's a statement of fact. Another thing you seem to have difficulty with.

So I gotta ask you Jan.......is praying bad? Deos it matter what direction I actually face since the world is round and in the end 'all roads lead to Mecca' as the saying goes.

Oh right, you're from the flat earth society. Dinosaurs didn't exist, evolution is a myth and the world has a big ol' ledge to it that you fall off of if you venture too far.

Praying with a pure heart for good reasons and with clean intentions is never bad. Best of all, it hurts no one.

That's my take on it.

Yes it does, your a former Catholic you know the story of the Golden Calf. They thought they were doing good for God and made the Golden Calf. We know God does not like such things and considers them idolatry. How is the Ka'aba any different than the Golden Calf?

god doesn't exist so it makes your point moot.
