Pay descent wages, or hire legal (green Card) immigrants.

Pay a fair wage or mechanize. How about doing the unthinkable, hire H2-A arcultural workers. Oh, silly me, I forgot, that would cut into your profits. Toss the onus on Americans, right????

American citizens will not do the farm labor we can do. Many want $25 an hour and the protection of a union.

Farmers need the undocumented worker !

Did you hear about the UFW campaign to "Take Our Jobs".

http://www.takeourjobs.org/

Apparently it was a dismal failure. It did not matter how much publicity they got or how many TV shows they appeared on. They had very few takers. Last I heard there were only seven applicants.

Ilegals are bad for the USA over all. The good of the many outweighs the good of the few. That's what the USA is all about. But we don't include foreign national illegals in that. No reason to.

Farmers who want slave labor can move their farms to a third-world country like Mexico and make a fortune. They should stop whining and go there.

What was fake about it? They dared people to do their jobs and nobody took them up on it. Everybody on these boards seems to know a lot of people who would be happy to pick produce. This would have been the perfect opportunity to show those foreigners that they were not needed. All you had to do was flood them with applications. Sign your kids up. Sign the neighbor's kids up. What the heck. It would be an exciting and rewarding experience for them. Whole families can even work together.

I don't know why nobody has thought of this before. Mexicans have been picking our crops for over a hundred years.

This is all lies. The fact is more and more illegals are invading america since obozo announced his amnesty. They know damn well the govt won't check to see if they have been here 5 years and came when they were under 16.

Come up with what stuff? You made a stupid statement. I called you out on it. You have no answer so you pivot into nonsense.

I can see why your limitations have made you such a bitter person, but maybe you should stop blaming bus boys, landscapers or anybody else for your short comings.

Illegal Aliens don't want to work the fields. It is easier to drop babies, get welfare, food stamps, Medical, education. Way to go Mr. President.

They are still coming across the porous border. More so now since Obama enacted a two year deal with them here. They don't want to work farms, they want jobs Americans do/did and always have. Construction, restaurant work, housekeeping, landscaping, etc. etc. etc.. but only til they can get hold of the freebies one way or the other.

so there is no citizens who are bus boys or landscapers?

you have major problems. did you also hire them to watch your kids and change your kids so you won't get your hands dirty? they clean your house? seems you say they do so much must mean your not doing anything for yourself.

How many "farming jobs" do you think there are? Do you believe that 10 million illegals are picking veg and fruit?

Less hand labor is needed in farming than ever before. What do you think we still have share cropping, and plow the fields behind a horse or ox.

Why dont you pray to vishnu and mind your own business, apu.

You can't run them out of the country then complain that there is nobody to do the picking of crops. Can't have it both ways.
