Very old news.

Yes, higher levels of CO2 will cause plants of all kinds to grow more 'woody material' called cellulose in the absense of a change in any OTHER growth factor.

But this is countered in REAL WORLD after a few years by lack of other nutrients such as water (drought), buildup of iron in the soil, etc.

The oceans may be where sustained increase might be found as the waters can move resources around more easily.
