You make absolutely zero sense. So let me get this straight ... If my wife who works full time were to leave me then I who has no income on paper would not be able to get any welfare? Ha! Even when we both worked we still got assistance and if she left I would get my own assistance in my own name stupid lol. But that's besides the point because we won't be splitting up again. And FYI I would still have my apartment because I had family waiting to step up and help me with rent until I got my disability or found a job if she wouldn't have came back. Nice isn't it? That's how it goes when you got people who care about ya.

And another thing ... This is an open public forum where people are supposed to state their opinions and discuss them. Granted many people abuse that and use it to spread lies and other forms of hate about people they don't like but on this thread I was simply using the forum like its meant to be used and stating my opinion on some local issues. I lol'd because your only rebuttal was to get personal and TRY to insult me. Fail.

Yep. I'm sure you're right. Anyone who has anything negative to say about anything in this world is simply jealous. People who talk bad about Obama are just jealous they are not president. Racist people are really just jealous they're not black. People who talk bad about Topix are just jealous they didn't think of a website like this first.
Wait .. Using that logic (that you came up with) wouldn't that make you jealous that you're not white trash with a BMX bike? That logic is flawed in a major way.
I don't have anything against this dumb rally thing or Wetzel or the people who organize the events. Do I think it's dumb? Yes. Will I be attending? No. But it ends there. And for god sakes I'm
not jealous of anyone who owns a Harley. Even if I wanted to go buy a bike (I don't) I wouldn't buy a Harley I'd buy a crotch rocket. But jealous? Never. I'd rather have my iPhone than a motorcycle lol.
I completely understand your view. I am putting on this event, and many people that I have sold space to and the many exhibitors that are coming on board sure have a different view. My Rally is not just for Harly Davidson riders, it is for the enthusiast and the novice riders. We also welcome people that do not have a bike so they catch the fever of owning a bike. I am sorry you feel the way you do about our event without even knowing what is going to place. I cannot make you show up an support, but I would ask to give it a chance and then judge for yourself. Hope all is well and Hope you have a Great day!

I just wish people would understand that I working hard to bring rvenue to Van Wert. I do not have to do this show in Van Wert, there are many places I could host the Rally. I chose to put the show on in Van Wert, because I see success for everyone involved. Most people could not do what I do, but yet there are some that seem to know more than I. I have been in this industry for over 20 years, and I think I know something about what I am doing. I still do not know everything and depend on many to assist, and I learn new things everyday. Hope all is well, and hope you have a Great day!

I am thanks. It's sunny and 68 here, been great working outside.
One question, you don't have to answer here, what kind of events you have themed for children?
I haven't heard much about that side.

You have a great day also!

Well I have news for you, I am doing it in Van Wert despite your negative view. I represent the motorcycle industry, and yes if you look at the big picture motorcycle manufacturers, dealers, aftermarket parts suppliers, riders, and all things related to motorcycles are part of the industry. Now you have two options you can either join us for this incredible show/rally/expo or you can sit on the porch and complain. It is your choice. Myself I am moving forward to better the Van Wert community, and my vendors. I also will be putting on events that will keep people entertained. I am very sorry that you have a negative view of the show way before it has even happened. That is why it is Great to live in America because we can voice our position on various topics. Hope you have a Great day and hope you change your mind and opinion of my event.

y u such morons? not everyone who rides a motorcycle is a "biker" - this type of event will appeal to a more refined intelligent crowd. u know they might have some brain cells that haven't been fried by booze or drugs - go to the paper and read about the events. there will be family oriented attractions, and the ladies will have shirts on, won't have to worry about looking at fat ugly tits. Wetzel has become a shameful event for our town and u complain about this?

Could not have said that any better myself. It's all about making money. Everything ... Everywhere is about making money. Be it government funding or ignorant consumer funding ... It's all about the Benjamin's.

Really? Does anyone think if the money was taken out of the equation that this event would be happening? Answer that truthfully please.

you better stick with ur iPhone, a motorcycle could kill you and wasn't intended on puss y's riding them. I was stick to talking s hit w/ your phone. and everyone know a motorcycle is a luxury item, not something they hand out on welfare.

iPhone a couple hundred dollars, a good motorcycle a few thousand dollars. it's not that you dont want a bike it's just that You can't afford one.

I have said it many times, yes I am a business and yes I anticipate making money. What is wrong with that. I also have said many times that it is not just the money that fuels my endeavor. I started my business with nothing, and I never for once based my company and friendships on GREED! This is my full time job and I intend to keep helping people, create jobs, and hopefully can change the way people stereotype the motorcycle rider. I have a family to support and if I can do what I love and support my family, give back to the community then I say it is a good thing. What is so wrong with that I ask. I cannot go around and please everyone it is impossible, and furthermore if you do not want to show up that is entirely up to you. My family supports what I do, the Convention Bureau in Van Wert, and the Fair Board also voted for this event to happen. I will continue to do what I feel is needed to make this event a success. I know some of you do not want to see this event happen, but that is the way it goes sometimes. I appreciate my family, friends, exhibitors, and sponsors for their belief in me and the event that I am putting on. I never wish ill on anyone for their beliefs or opinions. I am in this for the long haul and I know that my event will impact many. That being said I hope all is well and hope that I see you at the event so I can introduce myself, and give you a history lesson on who I am and where I came from.

*sigh*

And THIS is a prime example of why bikers are idiots. Well, most of them anyways. I'm sure there are a few who don't follow the stereotype.

They don't hand out motorcycles at welfare? Well crap! There goes my weekend! And to think ... They handed out iPhones which we all know are soooo not luxury items.

Lmao!

Fail.

I just want to say thet Wetzel group has been very nice to us and actually came to the Fairboard meeting to hear what we had to say. It was stated in the meeting to everyone that attended that if I was putting on a quilt show none of these topics would even be brought up. I am in no way in competition with the Wetzel group and I made it a point to ask the Wetzel group if I was stepping on their toes. John has been very helpful and I admire him and the others that run the Wetzel group for their understanding of what we are doing. Our goal is to put on the event so that it benefits all that are involved.
