I am wanting to buy a new 8 ball kingpin. Is the 5 speed efficient for highway travel? How big a difference is there between the 5 and 6 speeds? Can you add the 6th speed to the 8 ball?

I have an 07 8-Ball that comes with the 5 speed transmission. I LOVE my bike, have no complaints whatsoever with the bike, handling, performance at all. That being said I find myself reaching for 6th gear when I am on the freeway. I am not sure if it would make a huge difference but with the prices in gas the way they are I'll take any help I can get. Good luck on your buy and ride safe.
