Quit fussing and just ride. I have a new CrossCountry with the black graphite skulls detail. I also own an Electra Glide Classic. I'm considering removing my Vic tank badges because they were installed right on the largest part of my cool graphics, plus one of them has a gap on top. To offset this and show my Vic colors I'm installing a black/chrome badge dead center of my aftermarket 9" dark gray windshield. Vic is pretty prominent on the bags also. The Vic has the power, handling and seating comfort big time on my Harley and the styling is unique. My glide looks just like one made 40 years ago. If my Vic sounded like my Harley I would be in heaven. I installed the Vic stage 1 exhaust upgrade but am disappointed in the sound, or lack of. I love my Vic and I like my Harley. Both are USA and both have their good and bad features. Different strokes ya'll.

So Jackie Boy.. not only is Victory still around moron, but they've come out with TWO great bikes that will rival even the high end Harley.
I'm a woman rider and I can outsmoke, outride and outrun any Harley on the road gentlemen.. so stick on your badges, fly your logo and be proud of what you ride. We are Victory owners.. an elite group of people that DON'T have to carry a toolkit on our bikes! Mwahahahaha
tool kit? Huh I think the only tool I needed was the screwdriver I used on the license plate. 14k miles later only maint needed was oil changes.

I dont have tank badges because I dont think they go with the curves of the bike. I plan on putting the script Victory logo on.

I've always wanted a HD and had a black denim Street Bob on order. Day before I sign the doc, I test ride a 2009 Victory Vegas Jackpot. No comparison. The Harley was like riding a poorly made moped compared to the Vic. Canceled the order and rode home on the Jackpot. I have been at places surrounded by HDs (you see them at every light). People will make their way to my bike and compliment it's looks, ask questions, etc. Even had HD riders state that they were making the switch. All that said, the tank badge does not do the bike justice:)

BTW - Victory is still around and winning numerous awards.

With Tiller being flushed, I'd expect to see Victory gone within a year. You can't continue to sustain such losses and negative growth. Pull the badge? Better to try and sell it stock right now...pulling the badge will just decrease it's value even more.
Six years later and how many more bikes has Victory come out with, and for 4th quarter sales I'd say HD is pretty scared about Polaris adding Indian to the market in addition to Vic. FYI I was searching for a trick to take off my emblems so I can replace them with the new logo, so excuse my thread necro.

One thing is for sure. I definately would not be because I would want someone to think it was a harley. And it's a Arlen Ness you moron.
I know people out there won't mistake the Victory for a dirt bag Harley because it won't be leaving puddles of oil every where I'm still surprised when you buy that piece of over priced cap it dosent come with a pack of Depends for the oil drippings and extra cupons
