I seem to be having trouble finding first gear. Is first gear geared real high? Is shifting on Urals like normal?
1st/N/2nd/3rd/4th?

It's like a usual motorcycle transmission. Down to first, up through neutral to second, up to third, up to fourth.

There are adjustment screws near the shift lever. Your tranny may be out of adjustment. Try this website for advise Vhttp://www.myural.com/
