I bought a Roketa Scooter from Bnscooters of Whitcha Kansas and have problems from day one. The front wheel bushing was not included, took a week for them to get me one. Leaked oil, from day one and their comment was they overfill at the factory. The muffler guard fell off in week two. The muffler fell off at the manifold in week two, their comment was you have to check and tighten all the bolts and nuts on the scooter. Week two still leaking oil after an oil change, very carefully filled so not to overfill. Oil was leaking so bad it was I was adding 4-5 ounces per day. Called and they said to find the leak and they would replace the part. I found a scooter store near me that reluctantly agreed to look at it for me and they found the valve cover gasket was never put in correctly. Called Bnscooter and they said they would send a part but not cover any labor. Its been over a week and the part is still not here. Called and they said mail could take up to 10 days (I know the usps is not great but give me a break, 10 days to cover 3 states) This repair will cost me over $150 which BNS said they would cover up to $50. All this for a scooter that is less than two months old!!! All I can say is buyer beware on the chineese scooters and especially dealing with BNSCOOTERS.

I also bought a Roketa scooter, from Extreme Scooters online. If you order one be prepared to wait! My paperwork was so late, I was charged a late fee when I licensed it. I licensed it the day the paperwork came in the mail so it was not my fault. Far as the scooter goes, there was minimal assembly required but many small flaws and a couple of major flaws that were fixable. It did start right up and seems to be running good so far, not enough miles on it yet to say for sure. For the price if I get 3 good years out of it I will feel I got my moneys worth as it was fairly cheap compared to major brands such as Honda, but it all depends on how many repairs and parts to be replaced in the future. Time will tell all! thats it for now. Everyone stay safe on your motorcycles and scooters.

I love the scooter (touring 250) rode it the first couple of days until I noticed it kept running very hot. The hose to the antifreeze tank was faulty, I sent the parts back, and I am still waiting.........three weeks.......The problem is not having a REAL operators manual with part specs and no place locally to get the parts

Bought 2 Roketa Sicily-150 scooters from BNScooters on a Sunday and they were delivered in 4 days. I've been happy so far. I've called BNScooters twice and they have returned my call the same day. Remember turn the key to the right will pop the seat open so you can find the battery. A slight carb. adjustment under the seat compartment stoped the scooter from moving when no trittle was applied. This has been a good experience and I do belived the negative blogs were prior to the new owners. Definitely give BNScooters a good look.

This company (BNSCOOTER) has sold many more defective models than you have seen reports of here and elsewhere. Most people are ashhamed to admit that they got a really bad deal. Buyers beware!

I thought I just was unlucky and got a lemon when I purchesd my 2007 Bali 250 from BNScooters, but from reading the other posts it sounds like these things are normally assembled very poorly. It seems like the company is aware of this problem as well. The first time I called their tech support line (after my scooter would not start) they told me to check and see if the fule line was kinked because that was a "more common" occurnence on these bikes. After taking off some of the outside paneling and tracing the tube from the fule tank, I discovered that the line was kinked and passing through the cooling fan! Other problems I have had in the first month of owning this thing: 1 broken filler cap (called two weeks ago still waiting for the part) and defective fan motor (called tech support today about it and the guy told me to call him "next tuesday" when he was expecting new parts). I would strongly recomend that you do not buy one of these scooters unless you know allot about auto mechanics because there is a good chance that your bike will be assembled improperly and/or have a couple of defective parts.

I should have read the posting before I bought the 250 from BN. It came two weeks ago and it won't start. There is only a clicking sound and the tech guy said it's a defective starter. It looks like I will be waiting a long time for the part to come. Does anyone out there have the same problem? Any advise?

I love the scooter but the filler neck which has three hoses, one for the overflow, one unknow and one radiator hose, all of which fell off the poor quality filler neck. I will make sure all are secure as I don't believe antifreeze was ever added to my scooter.
Time will tell if this is the first of many problems or just one of those things that are easily fixed. my dealer said it would take a week to ten days to get my part. So day one was fun and then not so fun. Its still in my garage with a full take of gas:)

Stay away from extreme-scooters.com this guy is a real joke. Took almost 4 months to get this scooter and another month to get the mco filled out. The roketa bahama 50 that I bought from this place is a piece of junk. Takes 4 to 5 times to start. Ten minutes to warm up so it wont stall and had to change the spark plug after 70 miles.Next time i will Pay more money and get a scooter from a honda dealer.

We are a Roketa Distributor and dealer. The problem is not the scooter. The problems are with the dealer. I am having conversation with the owner regarding this as we speak. They should only sell to dealers that have a location and that are properly licensed. Please take a look at what I wrote here...
By the way, Roketa's are not legal in California yet. They are working on the paper work with Carb.

Don't have an owners manual. bummer 2.
sticker on the bike says use gl-3.

As far as roketa atv's go the parts are not that good. If you are not a mech or know how to handle a wrech don't buy one. You can order honda parts they match up. I have 3 250cc and 2 50cc they run great (now they run great) each one of them I have replaced the bolts on the handle bars (neck) put a new axel on one, bought better chains and sprockets. They are great bikes at a low price and very easy to modify. One of my 250cc will out run a 400cc. Each atvs will have some problem when you assemble them depending on which factory run you get. Just match your CC with a honda and look at your manuel and that one online it will match perfectly. Just make sure that you tighten all the bolts and look for any exposed wires (this is big they will ground out then you have to do a bunch of electical work. any question email me at taylormade1970@yahoo.com I dont mind helping

Problems from day one on touring bali 150--sent secondary color, broken side mirrors received, no instructions on how to put luggage/trunk on back of
bike--I have not started engine yet--after reading all the faults, and not knowing enough about scooters, I guess I'm just shit out of luck--shame on BN Scooters--never order from them--never get a straight answer--ex: when were they shipped--answer:
their on their way!!!!--to where, china???? I live in Delaware, OH and don't need these kinds of problems when receiving new vehicles.

The batteries that they supply with the bike are junk. Try a new battery or at least get a battery charger and try to check the status of your current battery. Mine lasted only a month and went TU.

I purhased a 150cc Roketa Urban Sporty from BNScooters in July. Fortunately, the scooter runs just fine and I've had no problems with it. But, I will never purchase anything from them again. After doing much research online before deciding on where to purchase, I spoke to BNs rep over the phone. He was initially extremely friendly and helpful ... until he made the sale. After that, he was very abrupt and rude. I had ordered a trunk along with the scooter. The primary scooter color was blue. I made the mistake of assuming this idiot would realize that I wanted a matching blue on the trunk. It took a month to receive the trunk but it was a much lighter blue than the scooter. Color wasn't even close. I called to explain only to be told that was the only blue trunk available. Would have been nice if he had told me beforehand that the trunk color wouldn't match the scooter. The only other color he could offer was flat black. Since part of my scooter is flat black, I agreed to it. After another month, I received the exact same unmatching blue trunk that was delivered previously. I emailed him and got this rude response "if you send this back we won't be sending anymore". And by the way, my advice to everyone is to check the Better Business Bureau in the dealer's state. BNScooters is actually National Direct Powersports which had an acceptable rating. How and why, well I haven't figured that out yet.
