Just got new scooter how do I get the gas to start flowing

You don't say what kind of scooter you have,so I can't be more specific.There ought to be a fuel valve between somewhere between the gas tank, and carburetor. Make sure your tank is full of gasoline, and open the valve.

Remove gas cap make sure there is air in the gas tank and the gas cap is vented.
