Ever think of asking the seller for the Vin before buying it? Or asked them if the Scooter is legal in your State before buying?

I did & bought it in Pa. I did ask the South Carolina store if the first scooter could be registered in Pa, when I ordered it. Oh yes, they assured me it could. Right

The more you post the more confusing it gets. If an authorized Dealer for that brand of scooter, told you the scooter could be registered in PA, then you "may" have recourse against that dealer. If you bought it off an online distributor, or a private party, you are SOL. The only other alternative is find a repair shop that can get the scooter upgraded to register in PA. If it is a polution standards problem, it is probably nothing more than a differenct kind of catalitic converter. Most scooters have the catalitic converter built into the muffler, or have a special coating inside the muffler which meets various State polution standards. If the scooter or scooters, which ever, are two stroke, you are also probably SOL.

I have a mp250a it idles but when I try to accelerate it seems to either run out of gas or gets choked out, I can't figure which. Also, is there a choke on this thing? It is probably something easy it only has 28 miles on it.

<quoted text> I deserve to own a scooter & have for many years. The problem has been solved & it was not my fault. the scooter still sits in the garage not registered. It does not meet Pa. emission laws. If you know it all, well, there is one for sell in my garage. Try to get it registered, I don't think sooooo.
What do you have for sell, and how much. I live in Ok.
