Those of you who've bought a Chinese scooter, I would greatly appreciated it if you could take a couple minutes to fill out the questions on my survey. I'm hoping to start a factual knowledge base that will weed out some of the 'opinion' stuff and allow new scooter buyers to make a good decision--to choose the dealer and scooter that works best to fit their needs. The link for the surveys is

I believe this one just deal with their service department, they are nasty and will demand you send the old part because they don't know what part belongs where. If any dealer has a warranty where you have to return the old part so that the can find the replacement then please find a different dealer. |

Check out abc powersports prices, then compare them to any other drop shipper that sells on the internet, abc is 3 times more expensive for absolutely no reason.....

The bosses at scootersfactory.com suck, terrible customer service skills and they can't take no for an answer. They kept trying to convince me to keep a bike that broke after 7 days and 15 miles of riding. DON'T USE THIS COMPANY AT ALL!
P.S. No mechanic in their right mind will service these bikes unless you know a garage mechanic. |

I purchased a scooter from scootersfactory.com which is the same as lance motorsports and it has been the worst customer experience of my life. I got a 150cc lance vintage scooter for my girlfriend as a Christmas present. Since we live in Chicago, she could not use it till recently that the outside temperature is appropriate. The first thing that went wrong where the brakes, they failed and my girlfriend ended up hurting herself. The company’s solution was to fedex me replacement brakes for which I had to pay a mechanic about $250 to install and even after that the brakes don’t function properly. Second, the scooter overheats and fails after a while of driving or at speeds higher than 35mph!!! So, it will just die on you in the middle of the road and the only way to get it to go again is to wait about an hour. This is a cheap Chinese made product that has no quality standards at all, it’s cheaply made and nothing seems to work properly. I have attempted to fix the overheating situation with my mechanic and I only ended up spending more money and the scooter still doesn’t work. Their warranty covers only parts and given the bad quality of the part that is the cheapest part of fixing it. They expect the customer to take it to mechanic spend a lot of money figuring out what is wrong with the bike, then after multiple calls and a few months, they will ship you those cheap replacement parts that the customer will then have to pay a mechanic to install and pray it doesn’t break down again. I have contacted Dale Bradford (their customer service representative) in an attempt to return this defective product and get my money back. He has been unhelpful, and has failed to provide me with the name of his supervisor or anyone in this company willing to satisfy a customer. I encourage anyone with similar experiences to contact me; I will take the necessary actions to make sure this company is held responsible for their bad products and worst service. Also please report your specific cases to: Better Business Bureau (1909aa835aaa6064) as well as the CA Attorney General (1916aa322aaa3360)

After negotiating with their customer service representative, I finally reached a satisfactory agreement with scootersfactory.com
I sent them back the scooter and i got a full refund. I can say that they fulfilled their end of the deal and that this matter is now closed. |
