I have a 1971 MotoGuzzi 750 Ambassador. The right carburetor is constantly flooding. I have replaced both the float and the float needle. That has done nothing to resolve the flooding. I have switched the float and float needle from the left carburetor to the right carburetor but that also did nothing to resolve the issue. I fear that the brass float needle seat might be worn causing this problem. The carburetor is a Dellorto VHB29. I lightly smoothed it with valve grinding compound which also did nothing. So, my question is whether the float needle seat is replaceable like it is on a BMW carburator?
