vulcan fuel leak

93 Vulcan 1500: Have a raw fuel leak coming out of the carburator "breather hose". This hose is after the T junction of the two hoses coming off of each carb. The hose seems to simply end in the air tucked down between frame in front of the battery box. Thought it popped off somewhere, but can't find anywhere this hose should have attached. Where does it belong? Is the leaking fuel due to carb float hang-up?
