Hey all! I just bought a pretty nice looking 1995 yellow Magna with 61 000 km on the meter. I paid what I think to be a very reasonable price (2500$). The engine runs very well and doesn't make any smoke.

I own two other bikes but the Magna will become my favorite ride I guess.

I'd like to get in touch with a bunch of people who ride similar bikes to get informations about maintenance, modifications, parts sources etc.

Thanks

I just purchased a 1995 with 6000 miles on it. I got lucky. I have been riding a buddy's for the last 3 summers that was just sitting around his garage and would not sale it. The bike was fantastic so I had to get myself one. A YELLOW one.

I just bought a Yellow 95 Magna w\8400 miles for $2000. Problem is the fuel petcock/pump leaks and I cannot find a rebuild kit. Everywhere I check they all say the same thing, gotta but a new one. Course they are pricy; $130-150. Can anyone help a guy out finding a rebuild kit?
Thanks.

there are 2 screw caps on the top of the engine case on the right side. the smaller one is the oil dipstick. the larger is where you put in oil.

i have a '95 magna i bought 5 summers ago, for $2500. it's the best bike i've ever had. only problem was a cam chain tensioner that went bad a coupla years ago. parts and labor for that repair almost doubled the money put in--$2200!

but compared to many other lesser bikes i'm still way ahead!

found out that even many racing vfr hondas never got the problem i did. key is ensuring the engine is well warmed-up before taking off.

I have a 95 magna and I am getting what sounds like a ticking coming from where you check and fill the oil. Anyone have an idea of what's making the noise?

Hey Paul,
How did you know your tensioner was bad? I have a 1995 magna 750 cd that I love but it started making a rattling noise above idle only after it warms up. I think it's a chain tensioner but I'm not 100% sure. Any help would be appreciated you can email me directly at joshandmindy@comcast.net

I just bought a 1995 magna 750, 19,000 miles. It's yellow, fast, and runs sooooo smoothly. Best bike made if you ask me.

Honda designed the VF750C Magna as the ultimate cruiser by taking the basic concept of a cruiser and mounting a big, sporty engine. The bike ended up being very comfortable, powerful and stylish and it gave birth to an entire new concept of motorcycle, the power cruiser.

If it increases speed or noise with rpm then it likely a crank bearing, sorry to say, does it vibrate any

On my second 95 Magna.
Traded first one in for a new Gold Wing in 2003.
Traded that in for a 2006 Gold wing with all the bells and whistles.
Lost that to the ex-wife in a divorce.
Got another 95 Magna now. Yellow with 20,000 miles on the clock.Traded my old pick up truck for it.
Think I'll stick with the Magna.
Will be replacing the stock seat in the near future though since that is my only complaint about it.

Just inherited a 1995 Honda Magna, however, no key was available. Was told to take the gas tank off and find key code underneath, but there isn't one. Called local Honda dealer, and they offered no assistance. Any ideas on on how I can get a replacement key?

I too have a Yellow 1995 Honda Magna VF750C and I just love my bike. Had it forever it seems but it is the most comfortable to ride and man... when you ask for some throttle - You Get Throttle. Love it. Very Fast yet very, very comfy. Mine had to sit for awhile while I was ill and could not ride and now I need a chain. Anybody got any idea where I can pick one up at. The Honda House is pretty steep... Please let me know. I am checking with Bates also.
