My tranny seems to be plenty rough shifting into low after start, thin fairly rough upshifting thru the gears. Anyone had the same experience. Trike has only 1500 miles on it.

My 2011 shifts in the same manor you discribe. I've removed and cleaned the clutch plates, readjusted the clutch to a "t" and it still sounds like an unsyncronized 1926 Farmall. How embarrasing to have such a reasonable good lookin' trike to sound so bad during gear changes. Mine also pulld the bike forward wiile starting in gear with the clutch handle buried in the hand grip. Shame on you Harley!!.

This is a newly designed tranny and nothing like the one on our old '98 electra glide. Give the tranny a little more imeto loosen up. Liked our old '98 tranny better eventho it was a speed.
Have also tried to adjust that dragging clutch out of our 2012 trike and haven't been able to, yet.
As a side note: are you having troube finding neutral as are man people? Load the shifter lihtly in whichever diretion you want to shift then blip the throttle and the tranny should slide right into gear or neutral.
