Flat Out will also sell you a load of BS. The worst dealer I've ever dealt with. Glad to see Duc coming to town.

Yeah, why would anyone want to drive a vehicle with awsome performance that still gets close to 40 mpg?
What a moron.

Hot Damn! Always wanted a Desmo Duck. Too old now, don't bounce, but at least I can go look. I'll bring a roll of shop towells to mop up the drool when I come look. Better than a Ferrari dealership...

You can get 60+ mpg on a motorcycle. With gas prices this high, you should expect ot see a lot more bikes out.

Ducati dealer in Fishers went under a few years ago due to lack of sales. That and they had a horrible service guy. He once put the spacer in the rear wheel of my 900SS in backwards when changing tires. The part ground down and I almost killed myself. FlatOut I think had a hard time getting people to understand what sets Ducati apart - probably has the wrong customers for the brand. I purchased an MV from an MV dealer that used to be in Anderson. They are gone as well. Hard to figure how Chicago can support 3 dealers and Indy can't keep one open. Here's hoping this works.

It will be great to have a duc dealershipe here in Indiana, but Swiatek needs to check his facts. Flat Out motorsports had a Ducati Dealership until just a few years ago. I have no idea how or why they got out of it.

Could this have something to do with bike races coming to IMS?

I'd like to see a BMW (yes Yuppies, they make bikes too) dealer. That would make a great addition to the Duc dealership. Those two brands under one roof could support a shop quite well.

Will they advertise on Steel Horse?

Be there!

Dave - if you look at BMW's motorcycle website they are actively recruiting someone to open a BMW Motorcycle dealership here in Indy. They had one on Shadeland around 75th Street but it was in a terrible location in behind the business park and very difficult to find from the streets.

In this Hog town it'll be refreshing to see another dealer nameplate.

Can't be any worse than what Harley-Davidson will sell you.
