I have been an avid biker for almost 40 yrs. I currently own three, a 1982 Suzuki GS1100G, 1998 BMW R1200C and a 2000 BMW K1200LT. All great bikes that get ridden. Comfort, handling, power and fuel economy win goes to the K1200LT. Over 6 gallon fuel tank and always better than 50 MPG. Unique styling goes to the R1200C. Still ride the Suzuki, love the sound of 4 carbs sucking air and dead dinosaurs.

I am looking for a 2000 to 2004 BMW R1200c motorcycle, does anyone have one to sell?

Steve Fenlon, you can find many BMW R1200C's for sale, but I caution you to ride the bike for several miles before you make the purchase. I own one and have had a few problems and understand that there are others that have had similar problems. I have heard these bikes are now a collecters item. I love mine though, despite the problems I have endured.

I have 1998 R1200C with 2000 miles. It is located in LA if you are interested.

What kind of problems? Im looking at two bikes. The R1150RT and the R1200C. Does the 1200 have the same problems as the 1150 Ive been reading about?
