Hey Keith Wandell
Go back to running Johnson Controls into the job. You did a good job. Why try to ruin a good thing in York. How could you want to build a new 10 million dollar plant when you are supposedly in such a finanacial hardship?

They need to fire all the top management and start over since they don't seem to know what they are doing? Talking about restructure and closing York but still working Overtime, go figure!

HD worker wife, you really need to stop staring at the bug zapper for entertainment. Johnson Control is a company that is growing not shrinking like HD. Keith did a great job there and now is in charge of correcting the mess that HD is in.
So stop shoving cheese puff in your mouth and learn how to read. Do some research before you spout off at the mouth.

They should close the entire York plant down and move to Mexico I bet they will sell more bikes made in Mexico at 1/3 the price and be alot better made.

Why not close the Harley plant for 3 months, lay-off/fire all the workers and move in the Buell operations. Once everything is ready to go rehire all the workers at non-unionized normal payscales for what a person turning a wrench should be paid.

To Harley Workers Wif e: QUOTE Talking about restructure and closing York but still working Overtime, go figure!UNQUOTE

It is Standard Procedure.
Step 1 - Make finished inventory to burn off the parts inventory, by working overtime.
Step 2 - Complain that finished inventories are too high.
Step 3 - "Temporarily" shut down for inventory reduction.
Step 4 - SHUT DOWN PERMANENTLY

Or spell Cole Steel,Certainteed,Lyon Metal,Teledyne McKay,USE Diamond aka Gunnebo Fasteners.. All union shops that have closed in York County in the past 25yrs.

I would be all for HD staying in York, just throw out the union. The bikes will be made better if the employee is paid for the quality & quantity of their work. Rather than their tenure.

Harley will use this 10 million to purchase new equipment for their soon-to-be vacant Capital Drive plant... the future assembly facility for the touring bikes!
As far as the overtime, its called building the inventories so that they have a smooth transition to the new facility.

If you knew anything about harley and Milwaukee you would know that they aren't moving productions there because it costs to much to make a bike there.

Harley sucks any way it brings trash from other states to are state to work and dos not do anything for york anyway it just a big company who cares about its own bottom line and self. I hope they close down then maybe york will be better off with out the greedy A holes.I spit on harley screw them go back to where you came from.Bikers are trashy red necks any way wanna be rebels with out a cause.

Hey Rattty you probably are the type of person to rip off your own mother,,most bikers are great people and would give you the shirt off their backs (but could kill you if you took it without asking) If you look at all these mansions around the area and or country,it is not union workers owning those houses,it is CEO'S and other people like Wall street ripoffs and even most all of our goverment workers with GUARANTEED pensions and free health care. Everybody should have the good job perks,so maybe everybody should bitch more about their own jobs paying so little as your taxes keep going up.
