New rider here who has never driven a stick shift or bike. Took the class did well on that bike and then went and bought a blast. Thought it would be fun but am having trouble starting from a stop. I keep stalling out. Am I the problem or can you adjust a clutch to make it less sensitive? I know practice makes perfect but if I can't get going I can't practice! Please help I am having rider envy!

So you are starting the bike... then without trying to get moving you are finding the friction zone? But while playing with the friction zone it stalls? Make sure the kick stand is up. On some bikes if the kick stand is down the engine will turn off if the clutch is released and the bike isn't in neutral.
I hope this helps... just find the friction zone and play with that for a while and 'power' walk the bike around a bit before trying to 'ride'.
