2007 Buell City X

United States

#1 Sep 15, 2007
I bought a Buell City X about 2 months ago and am wondering if anyone has/had the same issue I am having. If I pull the throttle back hard under 4000 rpm the bike will choke on itself. I talked with the dealer and they are basically saying thats the way it is. I REALLY dont like it and Im sure there is a way to solve it. Some people are telling me my bike might not be mapped properly - some are saying they run lean because of the EPA and that a Techlusion Fuel Injection Control Module. Thanks in advance for any input.

Hi Subal,
I have the same problem - also a 2 month old Buell City X. Mine is going in for a service tomorrow and will see what the response is. Will get back to you then.
