It is a shame to just stop producing the great American Sportbike. Not everyone wants a cruiser. We want a regular motorcycle that handles well.

I have a 2000 Cyclone. Everything on the bike is amazing. Upgraded the looks a little and modded very little inside. Runs like a demon!

We have an XB9SL and an XB12R in the garage, No maintenance, beautiful workmanship, Beautiful looking. Built for real riders who don't want to impress there peers more than enjoy a torquey, enjoyable and innovative ride. I was ready for an 1125CR this spring... now what! KTM, BMW, Ducati...... October is sucking and the HD executives who put the rider last on the importance ladder strikes again. Close the museum, Ditch the overpriced accessory catalog and re-open Buell. It's the only cutting edge thing HD has done since the flathead was shelved.

i have an 03' XB9S. i have dreamed of having one of these ever since i saw one in the showroom at a harley dealer in south carolina. And this spring i went out and bought one. i got one because of the unique styling and the amazing engineering. nobody i run into has ever seen one. its unique. Everytime i get off my bike my face is grinning from ear to ear because i just blew away all my friends on jap bikes in the corners. even the sunday cruises are fun on this bike. Buell is H-D's only hope for reaching a younger generation. if they dont bring it back then at least cut the rights and let buell continue making their amazing works of art. My Buell turns heads and raises questions. i always get stopped. Anybodies Harley get that kind of attention??? Didnt think so. Probably because it looks the exact same as they did 50 years ago!!! dropping buell was a terrible mistake. i will always be a proud buell owner!!

What other "sport" bikes are out there that are AMERICAN?? NONE!!!! why would you get rid of the ONLY AMERICAN "SPORT" bike when you're the ones who own it. it doesn't make sense. these bikes have every innovative technology possible from the v-twin torque, underslung exhaust, amazing handling (ridability),oil in the swing arm, and gas in the frame to the futuristic looks of bike that is all pumped up on steroids and just got out of the gym. my Buell looks tough and ready to kick A**!! How could they get rid of the future of sport bike design?

My XB12X (Ulysses) is the best all round bike that's ever been built. It can cruise all day long down the hiway, it loves being thrown hard into the twisties like a sport bike, it's rock steady flying down dirt roads, and I've taken it into some rough terrain like a dirt bike.

I have no idea why there isn't one in every motorcyclist garage in the world.... except for pure motocross this bike does it all, and it does it very well.

As was mentioned above, I do not want a bike that handles like a couch, sounds like an h-bomb going off and looks like all the other cookie-cutter cruiser crowd bikes.

This is unbelievable, I have owned several Japanese motorcycles, and I promised myself that when H-D, or U.S. company built a sport bike, I would get one. Well Buell bult the XB models, what machines they are, Quality built and engineered.
I think of resons to get out and ride, what a rush these bikes are! Best Motercycle I have ever owned period.
