Battery went dead.. removed and charged battery

turn key on nothing happens ? not even indicator lights.. What did I do ?? and what should I do now ?

Battery voltage should be about 12.6 at rest and not drop below 11 upon crank up,if no lights you have blown a fuse some where, battery shorted.Try a different ground conection off the battery if battery checks OK.Then its a ground issue.
