Big Dog Motorcycles ceases production for remainder of 2009
Different motorcycle manufacturers have battled the sluggish economy in different ways. Reducing production and controlling costs through trimming workforces and non-essential expenses such as sponsorships are some tactics.
This week an American motorcycle manufacturer, Big Dog motorcycles announced it would cease production for the rest of 2009 according to a press release published by DealerNews.

Not sure where you got this info but the production shutdown is not for the rest of 2009, only for 7 weeks (4 now, 1 Thanksgiving, 2 Christmas). I work there.
