Motorcycle fatalities on the rise in N.C.
Motorcycle fatalities are 20 percent higher in the state than this time last year, according to the North Carolina State Highway Patrol, while traffic deaths overall are continuing to decrease statewide.Full Story

could the increase in motorcycle deaths be due to the dramatic increase in numbers of motorcycles on the roads these days. due to rise in the cost of gasoline, the number of motorcyle and scooter purchases had increased significantly. makes sense to me, just common sense actually.
