I am interested in buying a 2008 Lifan Cruiser.
At the website https://motorcycles-wholesale.com I am able to order one online for $2,089 includeing shipping with a free 3 year warranty and 50% of parts. Lifan Motorcycles wholesale is the name of this company based out of CA. Gordon Whittet is the owner/manager. Anyone have any experience with this company? Thanks

I just bought a CF250 from Lifan Motorcycles Wholesale....your problem may be with who you bought it from. I'm having a hard time getting mine registered too...
Do a google search and do some checking, these guys seem to be the worst people to buy a bike from EVER...
they go by about 10 different names, Rabbit scooters, t-motorsports, Calhome imports, etc.
My bike came with a broken brake light switch, which I immediately reported, and they told me I
could get one from Rabbit scooters, which did'nt have one...THAT'S IT, nobody ever tried to make it
up, NOTHING! IT WAS SUPPOSEDLY UNDER WARRANTY!!
THESE PEOPLE SUCK<
Go to the Federal Trade commission website, and file a complaint, They have a form, and it's pretty easy to file.

Be sure to check your local title and registration requirements. I purchased a 200cc dual sport from Lifan Wholesale, which appears to be closely linked to RabbitScooters, but as of yet have not been able to get it registered. I have not been able to get any help from Lifan Wholesale, or the state of oregon. If anything good happens, I will update the post...but in the meantime, proceed carefully and do your research in advance in the state where you live.

Please tell us what American Lifan dealer are you talking about?
Or are you saying you ordered a bike direct from American Lifan, the distributor in Texas?
Thanks. Buyingchina

Yep, but what good are you if you don't sell parts to people who bought a bike from the other guys,
before they found out how bad the other guys suck.
That just makes you as much a jerk as they are.\\

QUOTE who="Powersail"]Lifa n is definetly one of the better bikes out there. However, make sure you purchase it through an authorized American Lifan Dealer or you will find you have no warranty and you wont be able to get parts

Where are you guys? Where can I go out and buy a bike?

If you only sell parts to people who bought a bike from you, and you don't sell any bikes, you're goin broke.

There are probably 10 (or More) times the bikes sold by the other guys....and people that bought a
bike from them, are usually not going to buy a bike from them again.

SOOOO, why don't you sell parts to everybody, make money, and not come off like you are trying to build a monopoly.

I love my Lifan LF 250CF, it's runs great, gets
great mileage, and is faster than I expected.

It's too bad I can't get parts for it...not that
I need them now, but everything wears out, and I would'nt buy anything ever from the other guys...

I highly recomend buying from an "Authorized" dealer of these products. Not to promote myself, but if you do buy from an authorized dealer like me, you get much more than a bike you can reg. WITHOUT trouble. You get parts support, advise, a Genuine MSO etc. I cannot even sell parts to someone who has a bike until the VIN is ran. Is it really worth saving $200.00 for a bike you can't ride on the road?

I recommend you don't buy from California because, according to American Lifan, they have no dealers in the state of California that are allowed to ship motorcycles over state lines, making it almost impossilbe for you to register your motorcycle at your local DMV. That is, if you're even able to get it delivered to you in the first place. I would'nt take that chance. Contact American Lifan out of Texas and they'll tell you what you should do. I think their website is www.americanlifan.com Good luck!

Well Lifan Doesn't seem to be as great as everyone has talked about....... A good friend of mine owns a shop and ordered 4 scooters , 1 dirt bike, and 2 kid's atv's, I offered to help him with assembly (as I have done for him many times before), Starting with the kid's machines, what a pc. of [email protected], They look good and after tweeking carb., run OK, but the quality is poor at best, stripped bolts, bent stuff, oh and what's up with that rear brake ?????(how much would it have cost to just run a brake hose to the front??? instead of that cheesy, flimsy bracket system). As far as the scooters go, everybody else learned that these chinese elec. chokes suck, what about you guys???, Other than that its just poor quality control (probably US factory), stripped bolts, cracked plastic, ect.. BTW I own 4 Bajamotorsports Dirtbikes, 1 Yamoto atv, and 4 Eton ATV's and and not displeased with them. I just think they could do a little better in the Quality Control Dept.(or set one up). done venting, back to assembly which by the way is all quess work as Lifan doesn't supply set-up Manuals to the dealer, at least when I set-up the Etons there was some guide available.

I purchased a 2008 Lifan RXL-200 Street Sport Bike from them, online, about 3 weeks ago. They said they shipped my bike out, which I should have recived a WEEK ago. They did not supply me with a tracking number and they have not been replying to any of my recent emils, basically the ones after they got their money, asking what the hold up is. Be careful with Gordon, not impressed at all right now!

Do not buy from Gordon Witted. He is only a drop shipper, he will not honor any warrentee. I've had problems from day one with a 150cc scooter. I had to find the parts to repair the scooter, and paid to have them installed. He made many promises, and I'm still waiting to be reimbursed for the 65.00 I paid for the parts. DO NOT BUY FROM GORDON.

First Off if you buy from lifanwholesale.com it is a major rip off. If you do research on the web you will find that rabbit scooters, lifanwholesale and other comapnies are ran by the same person just under different companie names. I bought my 2007 GY from lifanwhole and many .things were broken on it like the speedo cable, the cylinder head was loose and now as of today the swing arm bearings need to be replace in order to pass inspection. If anyone knows where I can fidn theres bearings it would be helpful. A tip to those people who are having trouble getting their license is they should take their "cardboard" MSO to literally a redneck Notary shop and they will do it there for you

What type of parts were bad. I'm in search of a swing arm bearing and no one seems to have. I thought maybe you were having the same problem with parts as I'm having.
Thanks,

Warning.. Do not buy from Mr. Gordon (DIM)Whitted. He will rip you off. He sells junk. Is not a lifan dealer. Will promise the world and leave you hanging. No parts support. Stay away from this Bum.
