Looks like the accurate portrayl of Bike Week will need to come from another source besides the backwoods trolls.

Today's Gettysburg Times reports that Bike Week promoters expect this year's Bike Week to be the biggest in its 11 year history. Pre-sale tickets normally are around 500, this year more than 2000 have been sold. And it looks like the weather will also be in our favor. The popular Parade of Chrome will also be returning.

Many bikers already in town. Visiting local merchants and eating in local restaurants. I saw a lot of bikes parked downtown today, and saw them in local restaurants, but didn't notice many bikes at the fast food or chain eateries.

Just wanted to let all of you know how much I enjoyed the various Bike Week festivities this weekend. Although I am not a biker I still found many activities to enjoy. Again Gettysburg, a job well done!
