Why take pride in something you're supposed to be born with? It's like taking pride in having blue eyes.

I think gays have pride because they know deep down being Gay is a personal choice.

I still don't get the pride of ugly, middle-aged "men" walking down the middle of city streets in stained underwear, but I like how doing so ensures that gays will never be married in California, thanks in part to old creepy gay behavior they call "gay pride."

Every year we are subject to a bunch of prancing homo's rejoicing in a lifestyle of buggery on the front page of the L.B. Press Telegram. Can't wait till I'm able to leave the state to where morality isn't looked down upon.

Gay or not, the city and the PT sanctioning a bunch of fat middle-aged men dancing down the middle of the street in their skid marked underwear in front of kids is just low class. There's plenty of gay men who would say the same thing.

Weather or not a person is gay is none of my business. Celebrating a sexual lifestyle and expecting everybody to embrace it is just wrong and shows you how far humanity has descended into immorality. But, if I was to express my opinion publicly, I would be branded as a homophobe or hate monger.

Not pride for sexuality, pride for standing up against those who want to oppress people for their sexual orientation. Pride for those who have been part of that movement - making changes in the law so GLBT is no longer illegal.

Lesbian motorcycle drivers led the way, eh? I bet that's the same unruly tattooed gang that is causing so much trouble in the dangerous Belmont shore area.

And you do that by dressing up as nuns with your fat asses hanging out of your habit in a sanctuary city filled with immigrants who are devout catholics, outnumber you exponentially in the voting booths, and always will? Real bright idea, gaywad.
You dim bulbs have hijacked the gay civil rights movement like Islamists hijacked Islam. You use doublespeak, and game the game until you make all gays look bad. Keep up the good work, idiot.

I am not sure I understand this pride thing. Living in a heterosexual society will never change. That is the reality of today and the future. Sexual orientation is about your rights as a person to belong in a 'tolerant society' BUT not all cities are tolerant. My sexual orientation is private because I prefer not to announce what I sleep with and whom I sleep with. I have been married twice and buried two wives. Living in today's society with an issue of sexual orientation is a rough world to live in when tolerance and hatred is an issue. Not everyone is tolerant. Why I would want to 'expose' myself to a society that is not tolerant only spikes hatred. There is a time and place to show your 'pride' but I seriously think 'exposing' your sexual orientation to an already hatred society who does not adjust to change easily and who live in the reality that this will always remain a heterosexual society is only asking for trouble.
