In amateur mixed martial arts competition a lady Brazilian jiu-jitsu performer easily defeats a much larger boy in a national tournament. She is only 15 but he is a bit older and of a couple of higher weight categories. Thus, he outweighs her and has more experience. But she has superior upper body strength, leg strength, and is much quicker. Because of his she renders him helpless in a matter of seconds:

Her is a newspaper account of Miss Leve's training regimen and personal history:

Some people view this as proof that this validates intergender sports and that more such matches should be sanctioned at the amateur and pro levels. What are your thoughts on this?

Not proof of course, but it does appear despite superficial logic that females can better compete in combat sports against males potentially better than in many other sports.
There are advantages in flexibility and lower center of gravity for women. Just empirically it seems that females would not be benefit from being thrown in with the guys in track and field for instance. Times and distances prove about a 10 percent advantage for males in about any track and field event.
However, girls and women seem to compete very well in relation to the number of female participants in wrestling and martial arts against men.
However a thorough statistical study should be made to back that statement up.
The fact is that I find it rather disgusting that young boys are exposed to so much ridicule when they lose to a girl. It is degrading that so many people do not care about a person's feeling as long as he's male. Posts and youtube videos are made bragging about making boys cry and gloat-fully and gleefully presenting girls who are so satisfied and happy to see a boy in emotional distress .
The response is always that the boy should just get over it. That times have changed and we should all be able to cope with the fact females can do anything that a male can do.
Well I say that this is plainly insensitive. We live in a world where boys are taunted for losing to girls, and a sport like wrestling one loses in a humiliating way when you are pinned on your back as opposed to gathering fewer points.
Now if the world did not taunt boys for losing to girls, the boys would clearly be able cope better. But these open minded feminists enjoy taunting boys like the boy in the above match.
I say it would be better at all costs to have girls compete with each other in wrestling, as long as they and their supporters think it's funny that boys experience emotional trauma.

They were in the same weight class and the same age. More unnecessary propaganda.
