Opinion: A Nobel Peace Prize #Fail

The Norwegian Nobel Committee in Oslo awarded the Nobel Peace Prize Friday to the European Union for peaceful reconciliation after World War II between former foes Germany and France, and for spreading democracy and human rights through Europe.

If they give me Nobel Prize, I will chuck it in the toilet bowl.
Their politically motivated crap honour went doen the drain with the prize they gave to hollow Suu Kyi ARIS , a mere housewife of Oxford.
Then there was another prize for amother insignificant woman, of Latin America.
Then Obama. What a joke.
The Nobel committee is a joke.
Norwegians should learn history.

This guy is a joke. Talks about Norwegians having to learn history yet hasn't a clue about it himself. If he did he would know that the European Union has done more for world peace than any other single institution in existence. Considering how two world wars started here, the European Union hasn't just saved Europe, but potentially millions of lives across the world too.

So who would you have offered it to, big man? Would the Nobel Prize have gained legitimacy if it had been awarded to one of your right wing favourites instead of the biggest peacemaker in history?

And rightly so. The European Union is the single reason why Europe has not needed a war besides the wars that America creates.

It cemented democracy after dictatorships in Spain, Greece and Portugal.

It was the only reason why Serbia handed over war criminals. It remains the only reason why certain former ex-Yugoslavian countries are joining forces once again.

The only reason why human rights records have improved in Europe is because of what is required from the EU.

So with the EU giving us so much, why would anybody want to be a Euro-sceptic?

Because Euro-sceptics are racist, right wing nationalists who want to see humanity go backwards.

That is precisely the reason why somebody would want to be a Euro-sceptic.

Norwegians dont look like knobs because of the Nobel Committee. The Nobel institute is actually responsible for putting Norway on the map and making it look like a progressive modern nation. So there's something else you can thank Sweden for.

Give Nobel Peace Prize to Nigel Farage of UKIP so that he can shove it up Life's backside.
Life means 'life' sentence. He deserves his life of delusion of EU. Greece is burning. Germans are getting mad about having to cough up.
