Burma Considering Construction of New Hotel Zone

Burma's Ministry of Hotels and Tourism is doing a feasibility study on a project to develop an 81-hectare plot of land in Rangoon's Dagon Myothit East Township into a hotel zone, according to the website Travel Daily News.

Tourist colony is not a bad idea. Good to develop separate market for goods and serviced for tourists. Make sure no corruption in allocating licences to operators.
So what are the criteria? Who can tender? Will there be discrimination?
