Burma: Trouble brewing for China

Following the Burmese government's suspension of a controversial joint-venture hydroelectric dam project with China in the far north of the country, another flashpoint has emerged in relations between the two countries a massive copper mine at Latpadaung, a mountain near Monywa northwest of Mandalay in Upper Burma.

Is someone trying to create a split in China and Burma's relationship. This is a business issue. If Burma doesn't find these ventures beneficial to the environment or improve people's livelihood , then discuss with China to find other ventures to cooperate on. Surely there are many mutually beneficial areas which the two countries can work on together.
