Myanmar warns violence could threaten reforms
Myanmar's government warned Monday that religious violence could threaten democratic reforms after anti-Muslim mobs rampaged through three more towns in the country's predominantly Buddhist heartland.

The government warned only when they realized that these extremists who called themselves Buddhist were threat to them as well. Prior to that they sat and watched Muslims being slaughtered and lost all their properties.

you are quite right...it was shown in records clearly that police forces just watch while riot taking place in front of them..but that forcres was too active whicle crecking down on pecacful demonstrations in Lat Pa Daung hill..
I don't belive them....like I never trust on so called new reforming government...and ex mili thein sein.
