Accomodating traitor SuuKyi Aris is a deal done by the powers that imposed sanctions and tourism boycott, that she supprted enthusiastically. It had nothing to do with her. She was just a beneficiary.
In a sense England and America twisted Burma's arm to accept SuuKyi Aris as an MP. In her wildest dreams, as a mere housewife in Oxford, leading a mundane life, she would not have entetained the thought.
Gradually, she is being exposed as a fraudster who made thoudands of Burmese people suffer ad a result of the sanctions and tourism boycott.
As for the Inya lake being overlooked by SuuKyi's house, remember it belongs to her brother Aung San Oo too.
Also remember that the Inya lake was overlooked by the house of the late military thug ShuMaung, so-called General Ne Win who robbed Burma and bankrupted it with his lunatic way to socialism, that he called Burmese Way To Socialism.
Both ShuMaung and SuuKyi had to be put under house arrest as they were both nuisances to the road to democracy.
SuuKyi took advantage of her father's fame to promote herself having betrayed Burma by marrying an Englishman. She did not care that England had assaddinated her father. She speaks with fork tongue.
