Who the fcuk is Asian Correspondent managed by English neo-colonists?
Kachins' suffering?
Who caused it? Fcuking Clement Attlee who duped AungSan and ethnic brethrens to sign the evil Panglong agreement that stipulated that Burma must break up 10 years after independence. Attlee, aged 64, was twice Aung San's age. Attlee knew that Burmese had no experience of governing themselves, having been acolony for 62 years, 1886-1948.
Burmese naively took Panglong as a bible of constitution. Little did they understand it was designed to take Burma to the logical conclusion of colonist's divide-and-rule - disintegration. Look at what happened to Cyprus. Sri Lanka nearly broke up.
Thoudands of lives were lost because of the evil Empire.
Kachin's sufferings are direct consequences of English colonialism.
Traitors of Burma, like Aung Zaw of Irrawddy and Zarni of London School of Economics and Zin Linn.
If they think they can get away with their treason, they should think again.
Tell Kachin rebels to lay down their arms. They are not interested in Panglong or federalism; they are intetested in controlling the local resources like jade and opium. It is business by rebellion.
They have a greater future in united Burma. All resources of Burma belong to all citizens of Burma; they do not include illegal muslim Bengali immigrants called Rohingyas.
Burma is still fighting English colonialism as Scotland is.
