It seems that when the Marlins go ahead by a few runs, they start going for the fence. This is how the strikeouts increase. The hitting coach whoever he is, is not doing his job. You have to keep scratching runs until the 9th inning. The rookies don't know this and the three years "veterans" forget that extra runs will make the pitcher more comfortable to trhow his pitches. You never have enough runs in a ballgame, especially in the american league. By the way we need a new manager and send Bonifacio back to the minors.

Rhino - what's ur beef with GSU? I graduated from there and make six figures.....just curious as you must be real successful with all of the time you spend here.

Good to win a 1 run game. Lets get the brooms out. We're 3 back of the wild card.

What did Fredi contribute to win this game? Nothing, He tried to lose it!

We're starting to play pretty good ball right now. Hope we can keep it up and the second half might be real interesting.

SOMEONE want to tell me why that mess of a pitcher Matt Lindstrom is our closer and not Kiko, our best reliever?

What kind of closer has a near 6.00 ERA?

I've been a Fredi hater for a long time but he did a lefty righty switch in the same inning and that is a step in the right direction. In close games you have to keep someone warming up in case the pitcher falters. As far as the closer goes I think Kiko and Leo need to be considered. You have to have more than just a 97 mph fastball.

I'm glad we won, but Toronto swung at a lot of bad pitches from Lindstrom. If other teams would just take a strike from him, then sit on a fastball in the wheelhouse, they'd all get walked...

Yes, I do have more and by the way, looks as if many peple agree with me! First off, It's not Fredi the man I don't like, It't Fredi the Manager! He flat out can not manage! I don't know your background and you don't know mine Did you even play the game? Fredi does't know how to manage pitchers and niether does his side kick Whily! A simple visit to the mound is all it takes and he doesn't have to know what to tell the pitcher, Just break the action and let the infielders talk if he can't! Also the use of his lineup is the worst I have ever seen!
Reminds me of when Bauer managed back in the 60s! Your one liners are getting old! Why don't you try to tie a few more words together and make a few real comments and try to be objective! We do need a manager and you know why we don't have on!

Daily Horoscope for January 7

Sagittarius

If you have any worries or problems today, a close colleague could have the answers you seek. Work will be satisfying, and anything to do with children should be very rewarding today. There could be friction with a relative, but it's nothing serious and things will sort themselves out in due course. Again, you must pay attention to your health, Saggitarius: skin infections are a strong possibility at the moment.
