They are pathetic. I think I will start watching girls softball and high school baseball. It is more exciting.

Maybe they should quit trying to, "win one for the Gipper." Get rid of Vavra, he's a batting coach? It's easy to see what he's teaching... "hold bat on shoulder, watch as two pitches sail right down the heart of the plate, then swing at a breaking ball in the dirt for..."swing and a miss strike 3," or a ground ball right to an infielder. If not there's always the good old stand-by pop-up. If I had $1 for every line drive this club hits in a game, I couldn't afford a hot dog at Target Field. The injuries a plentiful, and it's tough to win when half your lineup should be in the minors. That aside, this team has troubles that go far deeper.
For all you "know it alls" that filled blog after blog, referring to Morneau as a punk, a baby, sissy that should "man-up" and get back on the field...I have one word; BOOGARD!

Never deserved a new stadium to begin with. Brand new stadium with a losing team, even though they claim to generate more money now than before, the Twins keep resigning and playing scrubs, and are too afraid to make meaninful trades, while letting key guys walk in free agency. Enjoy dwelling at the bottom in your brand new stadium Twins fans.
They haven't used that extra money to being in any impact players other than Thome. We have the same low budget pitching staff.

Karma.

This is what happens when you raise sales taxes without a referendum using various legislative maneuvers to bypass to state law that calls for a referendum to raise sales taxes.

You know. Kinda like what the Vikings want to do now.

enough of this crap--- these guys could hit at one time but as soon as batting coach vavra gets ahold of them they are falling down the gates of hell. and a mgr that keeps a batting coach like him is even more to blame!!

The Twins are the worst team in the league this year and it's not even close.-81 run differential kind of tells the story. I'm a big Twins fan and I have to give them a pass. At least they compete just about every year and have brought 2 championships in my lifetime.. a lot more than you can say for the Vikes.. who by the way are going to be terrible next year again.
i thought removing those trees was going to help the batter's see the ball better! go figure!!!!!!!!!!
