Gardy could have used Perkins in the 8th instead of
the 11th and may have won the game. When they get down to Hoey, etc it's too late. Replacing Perkins
with an ERA of under 1 with Hoey, ERA over 9 makes
sense like NEVER! I don't care about lefty, righty
when the likelyhood of the righty coming in doesn't
have a chance! This game was lost in the 1st 6 innings when our guys have 10 hits and score a lousy 3 runs. 1 for 13 with men in scoring position. Where is their pride? You would think they could as least show up once or twice a week.
This has gotten to be an everyday occurence. They
should give up their pay to charity until they can win 2 games in a row. On paper this should be a
great team, in reality, it may be the worst team effort and worst managed team since the Billy Gardner, Ray Miller days.

I've been "getting after it", "scufflin a bit", and "battling my tail off out there". But I'm just too tight, tired, sore, and fatigued to write another comment this season. I think I had a viral infection, it might be the cause of my symptoms, but maybe not.

Stupid question - it is real obvious that Perkins and Capps are the only major league quality relievers in the bullpen right now. Mijeras is going through his normal early season issues because he is so fat and out of shape. Why are the Twins waiting so long to call up Gibson. The Twins really need to shake things up. It may not be a bad idea to move Slowey and Gibson to the rotation and move Liriano and Duensing to the bullpen. This will give the Twins 4 quality options in the pen instead of 4. I love Duensing as a starter but the club needs him in the pen. It is a guaranteed loss if the junk relievers like Hoey, Burnett and others have to pitch when the game is close. Just a thought.

I am surprised that Hoey is so ineffective with that monstrous fastball. The bull pen is what would be predicted. I still wish the team would've signed one of the guys from last year. The pen is so weak now. But then again, so are other parts of the team.

Twins pitchers are pitching scared to many pusses. They are afraid to pitch stikes that's why they are walking so many players. Or they just plain suck. Duesing as already walked two batters, if your scared to pitch to the batters then quit baseball, become a clown. Twins suck because they are made up of a bunch of losers. That's comes from Gardy, the biggest loser of them all.

How did Gardy ever win the Manager of the Year last year. The guy is an idiot and he obviously has not been able to motivate this team in any way or shape this year. Of course it doesn't help when you are fielding a team of AA and AAA players. There is hardly a bright spot with any of the young players called up to fill in. This does not bode well for the future of this team.
