Padres open to moving Petco Park's fences
With Jeff Moorad and Jed Hoyer out of the picture it appears that the Padres are willing to reexamine the possibility of moving in the Petco Park fences to make it more hitter friendly .

This is a terrible idea. Right now we can mold this team around inexpensive young pitching, inexpensive defense, and inexpensive speed. It can be a real homepark advantage, and we can win if we concentrate on those aspects of the game. Proven power hitters cost money we obviously don't have. Let's get a GM with enough brains to realize this.(Is it too late to get Kevin Towers back?)
