The Twins need to get rid of guys who haven't been producing and either trade or bring up another relief pitcher who can get some outs. Of the four pitchers we've seen in two games, Mijares and Henn are kids. Mijares created a jam for himself but worked out of it in the first game. Henn got nailed for a homer and walked a couple afterwards. They're good, young players but still learning. Ayala allowed Henn's runners to score and gave up a run of his own. Of the four, only Dickey pitched well. Henn and Ayala's three run seventh helped take the Twins out of the game.

Young could still draw some interest on the trade market, and the Twins have a lot of guys in AAA who might attract attention. The Twins could sure use Span in the lineup. When he returns, not just Pridie but Buscher should go in order to make room for that 7th guy in the bullpen. The Twins have plenty of left-handed hitting and guys who can play 3rd better than Buscher. Cuddyer would have to back Morneau at first.

Twinkies dominated by a 2-7 pitcher, hitters look pitiful, Liriano hasn't got enough to get thru 6 innings,(why not put him in bullpen), bullpen is weak. Does Delmon ever lay off the pitch that's a foot outside and in the dirt? All in all, they're an average team in a weak division, and a below average team in the AL.

Francisco is headed to the bullpen which desperately needs help anyways at least hes proven hes good for 3 innings before batters get comfortable and start practicing for the homerun derby
