Could always be worse, could be both hips. Howard should have some eye surgery, the ball just get in the way of the bat on most swings. If it's only bone spurs etc. with Chase he should be okay by April. Pedro on the othr hand could take longer, his glove will be missed at third. He's one of the best I have even seen at third base on defense.

Regarding hip replacement surgeries, one should know that certain devices have been recalled by their manufacturers due to complaints from its clients. For instance, the ASR Hip Replacement Recall by the DePuy Orthopaedics of Johnson&Johnson. Certain design features of ASR XL Acetabular System and the ASR Hip Resurfacing System can cause grinding of the implants’ metal components. This will eventually cause metal pieces to break off into the body. Metal particles traveling in the body and bloodstream may cause bone loss, inflammatory reactions, and damage in soft tissue. Seek medical advice for a more detailed discussion on this. More information here: http://www.depuyhipreplacementlawsuit.com .

Just an additional information, recently, various lawsuits have been instituted by law firms worldwide against Johnson&Johsnon’s DePuy Orthopaedics, Inc. on behalf of their clients who have become the victims of hip replacement surgeries. Legal experts report that numerous patients filed lawsuits against Johnson and Johnson. They were the victims of DePuy hip implants failures such as loosening, fractures, and displacements.See http://www.hiprecalllaw.com/updates/depuy-hip... a more comprehensive discussion.
