I totally disagree with Mark McGwwire returning to the St. Louis Cardinals. He was accused of using steroids. He should be penalized like all the rest. He never tried to redeem himself, he chose to hideout. He should remain in hiding. Don't reward him for doing something that was totally illegal. Who is he suppose to be?

Wow! While I admit, Cardinal fans had a heck of a lot of fun when Mark was a player here, he did behave like a jerk during the steroid hearings. Nothing was ever proven, but having someone like MM on the Cardinals staff is a stain.

I am soooo happy that Mark McGwire is coming back to st louis. I have always thought he was an awesome persome. I believe in him no matter what other people have said. He did a lot for st.louis and was the GREATEST ball player. Welcome back Mark!!!!

I wam so excited he's coming back to STL. Ive missed him. I for one do not hold any of that steroid use against him. Nothing was ever proven. He does deserve to be in the hall of fame. He brought such excitement to this city when he was going for the record. True Cardinal fans rally behind their players on good days and bad. He will get the same applause on opening day as Matt Holliday. Thats the best part of being a fan from STL. We LOVE OUR REDBIRDS!
