Did Andy Geiger approve this? I thought only he was allowed to spend all the athletic departments money. All that money spent on the shoe's renovation just to incorporate luxury boxes and advertising there. Then dig the field down 14 feet to add more seats and revenue, and then have to build a new track field to make up the loss. Build the Schott center to get more luxury boxes and advertising because St. Johns didn't have the room. He spent all that money then got a big pat on the back when he retired for a job well done. The grass was already there and just needed cut, what a waste of money. Maybe by not paying Tressel 5 mil a year anymore gave them the incentive.
