Of course, the Reds LOST 2 of 3 to the Yankees. But, why dwell on the small stuff.

The NY Yankees CRUSH the Cincinnati Reds WINNING 2 Games out of 3 with The Cincinnati Reds scrambling to salvage their ONE win of the series.

Don't those Yankee haters just love to "leave out" those MAJOR details? And so, it starts.

Ringo ... Nice Name :) I'm a Lennon fan myself.

I've read both books. The next one in the series, according to the author, is due out on John's birthday in 2013. Great reading.

Very Nice! Thanks! These books look like Collector's.
My Sister has ALL of the Beatles' Anthologies from Hamburg, Germany to The US Invasion, Ed Sullivan Show etc. DVD'S.

Lennon and George were always the "deep" ones.
John with that uniquely haunting voice.

As only John could do!

And George Rocked this one!

PS They were so "off" ... Paul forgot the words.
And George couldn't play for laughing at John's antics. They're singing "I'm Down" and they are anything but ... "Yaboo" ... LOL!

At that point, it didn't really matter if they forgot the words or not. I recall John saying that they could have sang anything at Shea - as they couldn't even hear themselves singing the noise was so deafening. Also, they were working with small amps - small by today's standards.

John was famous for forgetting words - even in Hamburg and at The Cavern he'd forget words.

Good stuff - thanks for sharing.

I think Shea's was their last live performance.
Then George Martin, genius of Classical Music, produced all of their Masterpieces in studio.
You're Welcome.
John always forgot the words to "This Boy".
Couldn't get the "this" and the "that" straight!!! ;)
