Just liestening to Manuel being interviewed on WFAN. Francessa asks him if, a rumor he heard about Bernazard and KRod getting into it on a bus last week was true. Manuel's response was" I can't go there, I won't go there right now", and he thanked Francessa for letting him avoid the question. Maybe someone should just knock Bernazard the fuckout!
I appreciate Jerry not airing the teams dirty laundry but I can't wait for the day that one of the players kicks Tony's as-s. Suddenly this loser has become a tough guy. Up to this point I guess everyone has respected his title but he's pushing his luck! He has no known or significant accomplishments in his sorry career!!!

What I found interesting is this incident took place before the All Star break. Wonder why it took so long for the story to be reported...

Here it is the 40th anniversary of the Miracle Mets and this franchise is just a monumental embarrassment. What was Omar's press conference about? What was all that mumbling about "investigating?" What a mealy-mouthed, incompetent jerk.

It's unbelievable that any owner with even the slighest amount of self-respect would want this fool representing them. Only the Wilpons are capable of this.

Until these crappy owners sell this team we can expect this kind of nonsense on a regular basis. Just a complete embarrassment.

Things aren't miserable enough around here??? This piece of garbage needs to be exited head first. What exactly has he accomplished to warrant the consideration of not being fired?? From what I've heard and read, this d-ouche is divisive, petty, self-centered and abrasive. F him, and take Minaya too! what an absolute disgrace!

Wow, ownership has to get a clue. Are you kidding me????? There is an audio clip of this, how can Omar try to protect him?????

The joke seems to be on the clueless Wilpons. Seriously.

When are you people going to realize the problems will not end simply by firing Minaya, Manuel and Bernazard?
The Coupons will still get to hire the next bunch of incompetents.
Sell, Sell, Sell...
Couldn't agree more.

Bernazard is just the latest symptom. The Tampons are real estate people, they only care about the $$$ that their real estate brings in.

The Mets? You mean the baseball team? They're just an afterthought, and their won-loss record is meaningless. Sure, they spend money (gotta keep up appearances).

Bernazard is little Jeffie's bitch. There is no "investigation." They are just buying time, because someone has to convince that little Caligula of an owner that his attack dog needs to be put to sleep.

Don't hold your breath, but by all means hide your money.

Do I hear a 3am firing of Bernazard and hopefully Minaya as well? It's time the Wilpon's grow some ba11s while their franchise struggles to compete!

Gary Cohen said it right that this needs to be resolved as quick as possible so the team doesn't have this as a distraction.

The Wilpons and Minaya should do the RIGHT thing: FIRE TONY BERNAZARD NOW!!!!! Then commish Bud Selig puts a lifetime ban on this parasite and he winds up on a new version of VH-1's The Surreal Life where he winds up being roomates with actress Misha Barton (assuming that she doesn't DIE), former NJ gov Jim McGreevey, Cloris Leachman, Dog The Bounty Hunter, etc....or Tony "the Shirtless Wonder" Bernazard could wind up on WWE Raw where John Cena or Triple H give him a series of brain rattling chair shots to the head as 15,000 fans loudly cheer every move and yell "TONY SUCKS" as they drag his bloody carcus out of the ring!!!!!! Remember "Mr. Magoo's A Christmas Carol" where one of the ghost shows Magoo aka Scrooge the home of Bob Cratchett and the ghost goes "I see an empty chair & crutch next to the fireplace"....Fast forward to 2009 and the Mets are (as of this moment) 44-50, 10 and a half games out of first in the NL East and the ghosts of Casey Stengel is seeing in his crystal ball: "I SEE LOTS OF EMPTY SEATS AT CITI FIELD COME SEPTEMBER".
