After another yet "wonderful" performance by my New York Mets, here is the obvious: Omar Minaya has to FIRE JERRY MANUEL!!!! I like Mr. Manuel and all that but in order for the Mets to return to being relevant in the New York sports scene, Minaya has to do this first step in the offseason: BRING BACK BOBBY VALENTINE AS METS MANAGER!!!! I know that Bobby V isn't exactly everyones cup of tea but his knowledge and love of the game will give a swift kick in the you know what to a franchise that has LOST ITS WAY!!! Plus they need to have their core players back and healthy and they need to be wise in their player development. I'm still rooting hard for the Mets (REAL FANS DON'T GIVE UP OR SELLOUT) even though some "fans" have decided to become Benedict Arnolds and take the easy way out by cheering on a RACIST, GREEDY, ARROGANT franchise from the Bronx. For those who have decided to SELLOUT; I have one thing to say: SHAME ON YOU!!! When the Mets hire Bobby V for 2010, we will rise from the ashes & the Mets will win their 3rd World Series championship in 2010 & the Yankees will be DEAD like Farrah Fawcett because come October, the BRONX SATAN WORSHIPERS will be denied their 27th World Championship because of their 200 lb tumor called A-Rod (Ya know the guy who cheats on his wife w/ hookers, goes out suntanning in Central Park like a vain male model, plays Texas hold Em with his mafia buddies Johnny Roast Beef and Jimmy Bag O' Donuts). It's a good thing that the Mets didn't get him in 2000 because he's like the violent diarrhea of Major League Baseball. METS FOR LIFE!!! Oh and one more thing, never forget the tragedy of 9/11/2001.
