A day of rest would have been nice but there is no rest, for the weary.

The #11 photo and story of one of the few Twins fans at the game is awesome. Big props to you Tim.

You want rest? Win your division without the playoff between two .500 teams. Then you get rest.

Congrats to the Yankees for roughing up our worst pitchers. Quite an accomplishment. *heavy sarcasm*

____Congrats to the Yankees for roughing up our worst pitchers. Quite an accomplishment.*heavy sarcasm* Do those congratulations hold for the other seven poundings the Twins took from the Yankees over the season? You know... back when they had Morneau and Mauer in the lineup and still couldn't win....

the day after one of the most exciting baseball games EVER played and all you folks can do is rag on our local 9 for the poor showing last night....nice fans......it could be worse, you could be a Tiger fan.......... It's only 1 game folks, last I checked they have to win 3 to win the series....I am sure all of you counted them out 2 weeks ago as well so this kind of negativity is no surprise but c'mon, 1 day after one of the best gmaes this franchise has EVER played?.....nice.........GO TWINS!!!!!!!

This game schedule was stacked in the Yankee's favor. Hell, they even ran scared and moved the start time up an hour knowing that the Twins would be tired. Yeah, yeah, the pinstripes earn the right. But again the Twins exposed a flaw in the play off system. Game 2 and a rested Twins team I'll take. The Twins win in 4 against the $$$$.

The previous two series the Twins won game 1 then lost three in a row to go home. I like this different approach because the Bronx bombers led the Angels 1-0 in 2002 and 2005, Detroit 1-0 in 2006, and eventually went on to lose each series.

If you'd like the game schedule stacked in your favor, win more. Basically, you're whining that the Yankees had the best record in baseball, whne the Twins helped contribute 7 games to that effort.

Knowing what was to come, the Twins used poor judgement Tues night after their win. Alcohol will dehydrate you and slow your reflexes, it showed, they waved at the pitches as they went by last night. However, it was clear the Yanks are the best team and deserved to win last night. Derek Jeter is one of the best on and off the field.

There was one 10-2 pounding, the others were close. Too bad the best team that money can buy 200 million plus salary vs. 60 million in salary is not any better than it is. They will most likely beat the Twins and they should with the lineup they have purchased but they will choke once again and not win the World Series. Fri, 5/15 at Yankees L 4-5 18-18 Veras (2-1) Nathan (1-1) Sat, 5/16 at Yankees L 4-6 18-19 Aceves (1-0) Breslow (1-2) Sun, 5/17 at Yankees L 2-3 18-20 Aceves (2-0) Crain (2-2) Mon, 5/18 at Yankees L 6-7 18-21 Pettitte (4-1) Perkins (1-3) Tue, 7/7 Yankees L 2-10 43-41 Sabathia (8-5) Baker (6-7) Wed, 7/8 Yankees L 3-4 43-42 Burnett (8-4) Swarzak (2-3) Thu, 7/9 Yankees L 4-6 43-43 Albaladejo (4-1) Liriano (4-9)

We are good enough to win the Central....whoopee. We're excited because we caught a team that compares to the 1964 Phillies for biggest collapse in history. Minnesota sports fans are the biggest suckers in the world. All those tshirts, hats and Twins merchandise bought over the last week to be on the bandwagon, will soon be in the garbage....and then to the garbage burner across the street. Vikings fans, you're the next group to publicly put all your faith into the team and then have them wreck your life by choking when it counts. They're only 4-0 and people are yelling Super Bowl. Good one.

What a disgrace everytime they play. It's the varsity vs the JV. Pathetic
